Event rules answer the questions a promotional banner leaves out: who can enter, how points are counted, what creates a penalty, and when an outcome becomes final.
Go through the EI777 rule page prior to joining and note down the version or screenshot that applies to that event.
When a date, access state, or profile-specific rule matters, confirm it on the current app page.
A CLOSER LOOK
Verify the registration window, account eligibility, membership or invitation condition, and any separate check-in time. Joining the event page might not complete each entry stage.
Watch for device, region, and verification rules. If the account isn't eligible, a visible event banner doesn't override the rule.
List the steps that create points, any multiplier, and each published penalty. Do not estimate from live rank when a category table is listed.
Review tie-breaks in order. The first option that separates equal scores often decides the position, with later options used only if the tie remains.
Review any rules on prohibited assistance, account sharing, automation, abusive behavior, or leaving the application during a round. A device interruption might follow a published reconnect or timeout rule.
If a technical problem occurs, note down the time and page without attempting a prohibited workaround. The help team can review evidence, but it can't rewrite a clearly published conduct rule after the event.
Use one account and the registered device arrangement described by the event. Ask prior to entry when a rule is unclear.
Identify if the event uses brackets, points, groups, qualifying rounds, or a hybrid structure. Then review how many rounds are needed and what advances an account.
Review the missed-round and late-arrival policy. Some formats continue with a penalty, while others remove the entry.
A live table might remain provisional until rounds settle, penalties are applied, and eligibility checks finish. Wait for the final marker prior to relying on rank.
